Turning ethanol waste into drop-in aviation fuel

We convert low-value distillers' grains and off-spec corn syrup into cost-competitive SAF with zero adoption risk.

About us

EcoGrains is a biotech and chemical-engineering company that converts agricultural waste, specifically ethanol waste (contaminated distillers' grains) into drop-in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Backed by an exclusive commercialization license from Sandia National Laboratories, our patented multi-strain co-culture system and catalytic upgrading process thrive on secured, exceptionally low-cost feedstock. By starting from mid-chain molecules, we significantly reduce processing steps, allowing us to break the industry's artificial premium pricing model. Our process delivers SAF that is chemically identical to Jet-A, offering airlines a scalable, cost-competitive alternative with zero adoption risk.
